With a brood of young ones, and over a decade of experience perfecting her skill, Shayla is known for her patience when it comes to working with children and newborns.
Her art and photography journey began with oil painting and playing around with a single lens reflex camera in 2000. Although people called her an artist for years she refused to embrace the term until one she realized maybe everyone was on to something! She became the first in her area to embrace the title "fine art photographer".
In 2014 she began the "Dream Project" and in 2015 one of her "Dream" portraits won first place in her county's fair for computer arts.
Shayla spends most days trying to keep up with her children, saying her prayers, and staying on a schedule (as most creatives know that last part can be ridiculously challenging)!
